Drawing inspiration from Japanese culture, particularly the art of indigo dyeing, it unveils a fresh hue of blue derived from the environment. The KENZO HOMME INDIGO Eau de Parfum encapsulates the fusion of iris’s sensual notes, invigorating marine elements, and the comforting warmth of leather. Crafted by Quentin Bisch, this scent transports you to unexplored waters. It redefines the familiar marine signature with the addition of a heart enriched with creamy, woody, and musky iris, capturing the allure reminiscent of wet skin. The base features a leather note with smoky undertones that enhances the fragrance’s sensuality, complemented by the robustness of Akigala wood and sandalwood.
In alignment with the House’s ethos, the KENZO HOMME Indigo formulation comprises 95% naturally sourced ingredients*. The bottle exudes a contemporary feel, showcasing a deep blue lacquer with a matte finish that resembles indigo dye. Its vertical structure reflects the resilience and flexibility of bamboo, while the angled cap is reminiscent of a katana’s edge, echoing the samurai’s legacy. Committed to sustainability, KENZO HOMME adheres to the principles of agroecology: the alcohol content is sourced entirely from French farms transitioning toward regenerative methods, which aim to preserve soil health and biodiversity. Designed with environmental consideration, the packaging has been optimized to reduce plastic usage in the caps by 34% and incorporates 15% recycled glass in the bottles. Additionally, the product is encased in unprocessed kraft paper and a protective sleeve made from FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) certified material.
