Cabochard by Grès is an “Eau de Toilette” for women that belongs to the aromatic citrus family. This fragrance was inspired by India, as it was conceived during one of Madame Grès’s trips, the founder of the brand. Captivated by the country’s vibrant landscapes and rich scents, she sought to encapsulate these experiences in her latest creation, leading to the birth of Cabochard.
Launched in 1959 by perfumer Bernard Chant, this fragrance was groundbreaking for its time, incorporating masculine notes that were virtually unheard of in women’s perfumery. Yet, it embodies sophistication and elegance, portraying a woman who seeks to break free from the conventional and step into an uncharted realm.
