The PHA Saponaria Purifying Foaming Facial Cleanser provides effective yet gentle cleansing thanks to its slightly acidic pH, which is very similar to that of the skin. It is complemented by a blend of surfactants that ensure skin comfort. Its formula contains over 7% moisturizing ingredients, such as glycerin, to contribute to that comfortable and hydrated feeling after washing.
This cleanser is ideal for beginners. It contains a very mild, beginner-friendly percentage of PHA (gluconolactone), a next-generation chemical exfoliant that, because its molecule size is larger than traditional AHAs, has a lower penetration capacity, making it generally better tolerated by sensitive skin.
Furthermore, as a rinse-off product, it's even more suitable as a first contact with chemical exfoliants, as it doesn't spend much time in contact with the skin. Its formula also contains extracts of Saponaria, a botanical rich in saponins that has been used since ancient times in Eurasia to make natural soap. The formula is rounded out with extracts of blue cornflower and strawberry, both rich in antioxidants.
