This vintage successfully highlights the distinct aromatic profiles typical of Verdejo, featuring notes of almonds and medlar, all enveloped in a delicate backdrop of tropical fruit. It strikes a balance between being serious yet enjoyable, or perhaps charming while still having character. The extended contact with the lees—lasting 120 days—adds a nicely balanced texture that also enhances freshness. The finish reveals a graceful varietal bitterness that contributes to the wine’s overall complexity.
