Description
Introducing Entroido white vermouth from VALMIÑOR. Don’t anticipate Entroido to be just another vermouth. Rather, it embodies all that is unexpected. With flavors rooted in Galicia and an Atlantic essence, Entroido exudes a certain enchantment that one experiences rather than anticipates.
PROCESSING
This vermouth features a careful selection of herbs, focusing on those prominently representing Galicia, such as fennel, coriander, eucalyptus, and bay leaves, among others. These herbs undergo a maceration process in a hydroalcoholic base for roughly two months. Afterward, they are pressed to extract the infusion. Simultaneously, our Albariño Valmiñor wine is produced as usual. We then blend the infusion with the wine in a carefully determined ratio along with sugar. The final step involves adjusting the alcohol content to 15º, followed by filtration and bottling.
TASTING NOTE
Entroido presents a straw-yellow hue reminiscent of Albariño Valmiñor, infused with vibrant golden highlights. Its appearance is clear and luminous. On the nose, it greets you with vivid citrus aromas, highlighted by notes of orange and lemon, alongside a delightful floral bouquet, enriched with subtle spicy undertones. Key elements include fennel, bay leaf, and coriander, complemented by floral notes like roses and hints of balsamic mint and eucalyptus, as well as spices such as cinnamon. Entroido reveals a complex, intense, and refined character marked by an Atlantic influence, delivering a fresh palate that calls to mind the Galician landscape. It boasts a smooth texture and a pleasantly enveloping citrus acidity.
