DIOR’S LATEST ADDITION, LEGENDARY SAUVAGE PARFUM, enriches the Sauvage line with a bolder “Eau de Parfum” formulation. This iteration amplifies its rugged charm and masculinity, marked by a striking citrus freshness that defines its character. Hailing from the Aromatic Citrus category, this fragrance refines its predecessor while retaining its core identity.
Released in 2017 by perfumer François Demachy, it offers a more nuanced composition that elevates the quality of its components. The scent evokes a wild, masculine allure, infused with a vibrant citrus burst that renders it suitable for everyday use while maintaining a timeless essence.
In this unique scent profile, the aromatic crispness is heightened, alongside drier, woodier notes. Each phase of the fragrance incorporates a select few components, capturing and conveying its essence authentically. The initial notes feature the sharpness of Calabrian bergamot and citron, intertwined with the purity of lavender, eventually transitioning to a heart dominated by the profound presence of vetiver, which underscores the scent’s masculinity.
